We were asked to add percentage numbers to the stairs of the company’s HQ building.

A photograph was supplied, and a visit to the building allowed us to take accurate measurements of the steps, so we could recreate them in 3D. This would also allow us to create reflections in the walls and floor, and cast shadows where needed.

It was then just a simple job of producing the CGI numbers, from the same camera angle the photograph was taken. Then, montage that on to the original, heavily tweaked, photograph.
